Dr. Anudha is a consultant psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience in psychiatry. She is a highly experienced clinician who specializes in the treatment and assessment of ADHD, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. Dr. Anudha has worked in various clinical settings, including in-patient, community, intensive care, general adult and elderly care, drug and alcohol treatment, as well as learning disability and rehabilitation.
Throughout her career, Dr. Anudha has taken on leadership roles, overseeing large geographical areas and collaborating with supportive teams. She places a strong emphasis on the importance of validation in engaging and supporting her patients. In the past, she has conducted numerous ECT procedures as part of her practice.
To stay current and maintain her professional skills, Dr. Anudha actively participates in organizations that offer teaching and seminars. She also values peer group interactions, which help her continuously enhance her diagnostic assessment and treatment skills. Dr. Anudha is deeply empathetic to the challenges faced by individuals with mental health issues. She strives to promote holistic and healthy lifestyles, emphasizing the significance of daily routines, structure, diet, exercise, and the judicious use of medication tailored to individual needs and efficacy.
In recent years, Dr. Anudha has closely followed developments in neurodevelopmental advancements, which have provided significant relief to many patients with ADHD. She is well-versed in several effective treatment approaches for managing these challenges and strongly advocates for psychotherapeutic self-management alongside pharmacotherapies.
Within Berkeley Psychiatrists, Dr. Anudha is a very responsive clinician. She diligently checks her email communications with patients, daily, and ensures care needs are met on an ongoing basis. In addition to English, she can carry out assessments in Bengali and Malay.

Insurance Claim Process
Patients are advised to confirm directly with their insurance provider regarding coverage for consultation fees. Berkeley Psychiatrists accepts payment solely from patients, providing an invoice afterward for submission to the appropriate insurance company.
